App Settings & Module Management
App Settings is your control center for how OpsGrip looks and behaves for your entire organization.
Where to Find It
Go to Settings → App from the sidebar.
Module Management
This is the big one. Module Management lets you enable or disable optional features for your entire organization. See the "Enabling and Disabling Modules" article in Getting Started for the full list and details.
Key points: - Disabling a module hides it from the sidebar for everyone - Data is never deleted when a module is disabled - Core modules (Dashboard, Knowledge Base, Team, Settings) can't be disabled
General App Settings
Default View Preferences
Set default views for modules that support multiple layouts (Kanban, List, Calendar). Team members can override these with personal preferences.
Date and Time Format
Configure how dates and times display across the platform.
Language
OpsGrip's interface language settings.
Who Can Edit
Only Admin users can modify App Settings and Module Management. This prevents individual team members from accidentally disabling features for the whole team.
Tips
- Module Management is the fastest way to simplify OpsGrip for your team — hide what you don't use
- Review Module Management settings when your team's needs change (e.g., you start doing field work → enable Trip Ops)
- Phase 1 onboarding sets initial module toggles based on your answers — this is just where you adjust them later
