Data and Privacy
The Data & Privacy settings give you control over your organization's data and privacy-related options.
Where to Find It
Go to Settings → Data & Privacy from the sidebar.
Data Management
Data Export
Export your organization's data for backup, migration, or compliance purposes. Available exports include Knowledge Base articles, inventory records, task data, and team member lists.
Data Retention
Configure how long certain data types are retained. For example, you may want audit logs kept for 12 months or completed tasks archived after 6 months.
Account Deletion
The nuclear option. Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This is irreversible — see the "Cancellation and Account Deletion" article in Billing & Plans for full details.
Privacy
OGI Data Usage
OGI processes your questions and data to provide helpful responses. Your data is sent to the Anthropic API for processing and is not used to train AI models. OGI only accesses data within your organization.
Third-Party Sharing
OpsGrip does not sell or share your data with third parties. The only external services that process your data are: - Supabase — Database hosting - Vercel — Application hosting - Anthropic — AI processing for OGI features - Stripe — Payment processing (billing data only)
Cookies
OpsGrip uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Who Can Access
Only Admin users can access Data & Privacy settings and perform data exports or account deletion.
Tips
- Export your data periodically as a backup — it's good practice regardless of the platform
- Review the privacy section if you're evaluating OpsGrip for a company with strict data handling requirements
