Platform Overview & Navigation
OpsGrip is organized around a sidebar navigation on the left side of your screen. Everything you need is one click away — no nested menus, no hidden settings.
The Sidebar
Your sidebar is your home base. It includes: - Dashboard — Your customizable command center - Knowledge Base — Articles, guides, and documentation - OGI — Your AI companion (Insights, Ask OGI, Write with OGI, Games) - IT Tasks — Personal and team task boards - IT Projects — Project planning and tracking - IT Inventory — Hardware, software, and asset tracking - Trip Ops — Field work planning and management - Sites & Locations — Your physical locations and floors - Network Topology — Visual network mapping - IPAM — IP address management - Alerts — Network alerts and monitoring - Team — Member management and onboarding - On-Call — Schedule and escalation management - Settings — Everything configuration-related
Not all of these may be visible — OpsGrip lets you enable or disable modules based on what your team actually uses. If you don't see something, check Settings → App → Module Management.
Top Bar
The top bar gives you quick access to: - Global Search (Ctrl+K) — Find anything across your entire workspace - Notifications — Stay on top of updates - Profile — Your account and preferences
Key Concepts
Organizations — Your OpsGrip workspace. Everything lives under your organization.
Modules — Features you can turn on or off. Disabling a module hides it from the sidebar but never deletes your data. Turn it back on anytime and everything is still there.
OGI — Your AI companion that lives throughout the app. OGI can answer questions, write content, surface insights, and guide you through new features.
Getting Around Fast
- Use Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) to open Global Search and jump to any page instantly
- Ask OGI "Where do I..." and it will link you directly to the right page
- The sidebar highlights your current page so you always know where you are
