Understanding the Dashboard

Your dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in. It's a fully customizable command center built around drag-and-drop tiles that show you exactly what matters for your role.

Role-Based Starter Templates

When you first set up OpsGrip, your dashboard is pre-configured based on your role: - CIO — High-level overview tiles: team stats, project status, AI brief, compliance - Sysadmin — Network health, alerts, inventory status, IPAM overview - Help Desk — Ticket queue, knowledge base stats, task boards, team activity - Field Tech — Trip ops, inventory, site maps, checklists

These are starting points — you can change everything.

Edit Mode

Click Edit Mode in the top-right corner of your dashboard to start customizing. In Edit Mode you can: - Drag tiles to rearrange them - Resize tiles by pulling the bottom-right corner - Remove tiles by clicking the X - Add tiles from the tile library (51+ options) - Pin tiles so they stay in place

Click Save when you're done, or Cancel to discard changes.

The Tile Library

OpsGrip has 51+ dashboard tiles across categories like: - Overview & Stats - Knowledge Base - IT Tasks & Projects - Inventory & Assets - Network & Alerts - Team & On-Call - OGI & AI - Trip Ops

Each tile shows live data from your workspace. No configuration needed — add a tile and it starts working.

Multiple Dashboards

You're not limited to one dashboard. Create multiple custom dashboards for different contexts — a daily overview, a Monday morning briefing, a network-focused view, or a project status board. Switch between them from the dashboard dropdown.

Tips

  • Start with the role template and tweak from there — it's faster than building from scratch
  • The AI Brief tile gives you a daily summary powered by OGI
  • Use the Quick Stats tiles for at-a-glance numbers without opening full pages
