Mobile Access Guide
OpsGrip is fully responsive and works on any device with a web browser. No separate app to install — just open opsgrip.com on your phone or tablet and log in.
What Works on Mobile
Every feature in OpsGrip is mobile-friendly: - Dashboard tiles stack vertically and resize for smaller screens - Sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu - Forms and modals are touch-optimized - Kanban boards scroll horizontally - Tables switch to card-based layouts on small screens
Best For Mobile
Some features are especially useful on the go: - Trip Ops — Check your trip details, checklists, and site info while in the field - IT Inventory — Scan QR codes on equipment, look up serial numbers, check warranty status - Ask OGI — Quick IT answers without needing to search through documentation - IT Tasks — Check off tasks, update status, add notes from anywhere - Knowledge Base — Look up procedures and troubleshooting steps on-site
Adding to Home Screen
For an app-like experience, add OpsGrip to your phone's home screen:
iPhone/iPad: 1. Open opsgrip.com in Safari 2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow) 3. Tap "Add to Home Screen" 4. Name it "OpsGrip" and tap Add
Android: 1. Open opsgrip.com in Chrome 2. Tap the three-dot menu 3. Tap "Add to Home screen" 4. Confirm
This gives you a full-screen experience without browser bars taking up space.
Tips
- The dashboard is the best mobile landing page — customize it with the tiles you need most in the field
- Use Global Search (the search icon in the top bar) to quickly find anything without navigating through menus
- OGI is available on mobile too — ask questions hands-free when you're elbow-deep in a server rack
