Jira
Jira integration is coming soon to OpsGrip. Here's what we're planning.
What It Will Do
The Jira integration will connect your Atlassian Jira instance to OpsGrip for a unified view of IT work. Planned features include: - Issue feed — See Jira issues on your OpsGrip dashboard - Ticket History tab — View Jira issue history on inventory items - Monitoring board — Jira issues alongside network alerts and internal tasks - Two-way awareness — Know what's happening in Jira without leaving OpsGrip
Why It Matters
If your organization uses Jira for IT ticketing or project tracking, this integration means you don't have to choose between tools. OpsGrip adds the operations layer — inventory, network, on-call, knowledge base — while Jira handles what it does best.
Current Status
Jira has a placeholder Connect button in Settings → Integrations. The full integration is on our Phase 3 roadmap as part of the ticketing integrations group.
Setup Pattern (Planned)
Like all OpsGrip integrations, Jira will follow the standard setup: 1. Enter your Jira instance URL (e.g., yourcompany.atlassian.net ) 2. Provide an API token 3. Test the connection 4. Choose which projects/boards to sync
Vote for It
If Jira integration is a priority for you, vote on our public roadmap. Community votes directly influence our build order.
Tips
- OpsGrip and Jira serve different purposes — OpsGrip is your IT operations command center, Jira is your issue tracker. The integration connects them without replacing either
- If your team currently uses Jira for everything (including tasks it wasn't designed for), OpsGrip's IT Tasks, Trip Ops, and On-Call modules might handle some of that better
