Account Recovery
Locked out of your account? Here's how to get back in.
Forgot Your Password
- Go to the OpsGrip login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Check your inbox for a password reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
The reset link expires after a limited time. If it's expired, request a new one.
Not Receiving the Reset Email
If the password reset email doesn't arrive: 1. Check spam/junk — email filters sometimes catch automated messages 2. Wait a few minutes — email delivery can be delayed 3. Verify the email address — make sure you're entering the exact email you used to create your account 4. Try again — request another reset email
If you still can't get the email, contact us at support@opsgrip.com and we'll help you recover your account manually.
Can't Remember Which Email You Used
If you're not sure which email address is tied to your OpsGrip account: - Check your inbox for old OpsGrip emails (welcome email, notifications, etc.) - Ask your team's Admin — they can see team member email addresses - Contact us at support@opsgrip.com and we'll help you locate your account
Account Locked or Disabled
If your account has been disabled: - Your organization's Admin may have removed you from the team. Contact them directly. - If you're the Admin and your account is locked, contact support@opsgrip.com for recovery.
Team Member Left the Company
If a team member leaves and you need to manage their account: 1. The Admin can remove them from the Team page 2. Their data (tasks, articles, etc.) remains in the system 3. Their on-call slots should be reassigned 4. Any items assigned to them should be transferred
Tips
- Use a strong, unique password for your OpsGrip account
- If you're the only Admin, consider adding a second Admin as a safety net for account recovery
- Keep your profile email up to date — it's your only path to password recovery
