Beta Program FAQ
OpsGrip is currently in Beta. Here's what that means and what to expect.
What Does Beta Mean?
Beta means OpsGrip is live, functional, and available — but we're still actively building and refining. You'll get: - Full access to all features on your plan - Reduced pricing with founding rates locked for life - Direct access to the founder for feedback and support - Influence over what gets built next
You'll also encounter: - Occasional bugs (we fix them fast) - Features that are being polished - New features shipping regularly
Is My Data Safe During Beta?
Yes. Beta doesn't mean experimental infrastructure. Your data is stored on the same production-grade systems (Supabase + Vercel) we'll use post-Beta, with encryption, backups, and row-level security in place.
How Long Will Beta Last?
There's no fixed end date. Beta ends when we're confident the platform is fully polished and ready for general availability. We'll announce the transition well in advance.
What Happens When Beta Ends?
- Your founding rate stays — It's locked for life. Prices go up for new customers, not for you.
- Your data stays — Nothing changes about your workspace
- Features stay — Everything available during Beta continues
- Standard pricing takes effect for new sign-ups only
Will There Be Breaking Changes?
We do our best to avoid breaking changes. When significant updates happen: - We test thoroughly before deploying - We communicate changes in advance when possible - We maintain backward compatibility wherever practical
If something does change in a way that affects your workflow, we'll help you adjust.
How to Give Feedback
Your feedback during Beta is incredibly valuable. The product is literally being shaped by what you tell us.
- Bugs: Report via support widget or email support@opsgrip.com
- Feature requests: Post and vote at opsgrip.canny.io
- General feedback: Email, support widget, or Canny — whatever's easiest
Am I Paying to Beta Test?
You're paying for a fully functional platform at a significant discount. The Beta founding rate is our way of acknowledging that you're joining early and helping shape the product. In return, you get the best price OpsGrip will ever offer.
Tips
- Take advantage of Beta access to the founder — this level of direct communication won't always be available at scale
- Report bugs without hesitation — you're helping make the product better for everyone
- Lock in your founding rate now. Once Beta ends, these prices are gone forever for new customers
- Check the public roadmap regularly — during Beta, new features ship frequently
